Deborah does the 2016 Track Trek
Well, this is it. The big one. Having watched the line grow over the decades from five miles to nine to eleven, I'm now walking it all, and in pink boots too. Best put my best foot forward!
Every penny donated goes towards ASH and Operation Undercover 4. Full information on these projects is available on the Bluebell's website, but in summary, ASH will enhance facilities for the restoration of the engines and public understanding of how their history and how they work, and Operation Undercover 4 will protect the railway's fleet of carriages from the elements.
Thank you for your support towards these projects.

Bluebell Railway Track Trek 2016
With no trains running due to engineering works at Horsted Keynes this year's Track Trek sponsored walk will cover the entire line from East Grinstead to Sheffield Park, a distance of eleven miles. The walk will take place during the daytime on Saturday 12 November. This year's walk will raise money for two appeals with all funds being equally split between ASH - Accessible Steam Heritage and Operation Undercover Phase 4.
We have decided this year to offer a second, shorter walk for those who feel eleven miles is a bit too much. If a five mile walk sounds more to your liking then you can walk from Horsted Keynes to Sheffield Park.
A free bus service will operate to take you back to your original starting point.
