Raising money for
Giving for Latvia
Donations accepted until 16-10-2017
My name is Oscar and I am 7 years old. Since I've been 2 years old I've been watching my mum taking part in different sports events raising money for various charities and been very keen to do it myself one day. I am very excited I will finally do it.
After I was born my mum suffered severe post-natal depression. She was always sad, crying, didn't want to play with me but then she went to see a doctor who made her feel better.
I helped as much as I could giving her lots of kisses and hugs. Together with my daddy we helped her to scare the monsters away and now she's happy again.
So for my first ever fundraising event I will be running a 5km inflatable obstacle course and raise some money to help my mummy to help other mummies with poorly heads as I want every boy and every girl to have a happy mummy.
The money will go to charity called 'Debesmanna.com' in Latvia that helps new parents living with post natal depression.
If you could spare a few pennies I'll be very happy.
Oscar takes on mental health
On 16 September I will be running whole 5km inflatable obstacle course to raise money for charity run by my mum called 'Debesmanna.com'.
She started this charity after I was born because she experienced mental health problems. I am a big supporter of this charity and am very proud of my mum to be willing to help other mums and dads.
I don't really understand everything about mental health but I know it's important to talk to someone and get help when you have poorly brains.
I love being active - I enjoy running, cycling, jumping and am very good at ice-hockey so there will be no trouble for me to complete this 5km obstacle course. I will be legendary fast!
