Charity Golf Day organised by the Barclays Leeds Team in support of England and Wales Blind Golf
Try and Beat the Former World Champions
The format of the day will be a straight, full handicap, stableford event over 18 holes and entry fee is £85 per person. As well as the entry fee there is also a £10 penalty fee to be paid on the day by any player whose score Martyn and Andy beat.
After the golfing there will be food provided on a rolling basis as and when players finish. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 scores (maybe more, it's too early to tell) and also some team prizes.
The proceeds of the day (less the green fees and food costs) will all be donated to England and Wales Blind Golf, the Charity whose principal aim is to get the Blind and Visually impaired taking part in the wonderful game of golf.
I look forward to seeing you all on the day. Some of the staff taking part include: Andrew Sellars, Christopher Tacey, Neil Thompson, Craig Cartlidge, Rob Kay, Steve Smith, Sharon Fournier-Shelton and Martin Bennett.
