Raising money for
Herts Welcomes Syrian Families
Donations no longer accepted
Having managed to get into the Prudential 100 Ride London challenge I decided that I would like to raise money for Herts Welcomes Syrian Families a charity I have been involved with since February. There are now about 100 Syrian refugees (who have experienced years of dislocation and hardship) in Hertfordshire and the charity is very involved in supporting them, helping them to understand and adapt to their new homes in Hertfordshire. To find out more about the charity please refer to our website: www.hwsf.org.uk/
RIDING LONDON PRUDENTIAL 100 FOR HWSF
On the 29 July I will be joining 25,000 other cyclists to complete the Ride London 100 mile bike ride celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The ride begins in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through London and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. There will be some legendary climbs up Box Hill and Leith Hill. The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 finishes on The Mall in Central London.
