The Snowdon Cannon barrel challenge
Clarity is a Barnstaple based mental health charity which is doing its best to help by offering therapeutic support to our local community through 1-2-1 counselling and group therapy. We do not receive funding and rely on grants, donations and fundraising to keep the services going.
Did you know 1 in 4 people will experience mental health issues in any one year.
Suicide kills more people in a year than cancer or heart disease.
12.5 million days are lost in the workplace in a year due to mental health issues.
Mental health issues lead to isolation, loneliness, depression and anxiety.
So how can you help ?
Paul Stevens, whose son Daniel killed himself five years ago aged 22 will be carrying a 20lb canon barrel up Snowdon in May 2019 (click on link to view Dans video ) to highlight the heavy weight of mental health and raise funds for Clarity. Paul will be supported by members of the Clarity team and staff from the local emergency services. Clarity would like to offer you the opportunity to get involved by BT Donate, or sponsoring publicity flyers, tabards or a climber.
