Cambridge Goju Ryu
Cambridge Goju Ryu is a karate club founded in February 2010 by husband and wife instructors Martin and Louise Stockley, teaching adults of all ages and abilities at two evening classes every week. In 2016 the club further expanded to incorporate a Saturday morning class for children, run by Fabio Giovannoni.
The club periodically holds fund raising activities for charity and in 2016 over £2,000 was donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
Thousand Strike Challenge
All participants will complete one thousand strikes (punches, elbow strikes and kicks) with half of these into kick shields. Everyone will wear orange belts to reflect the colour branding of one of the charities, Muscular Dystrophy UK.
