Support for Calais & Dunkirk Refugees
There are more than 6000 people in the Calais & Dunkirk camps and no major aid organisations ensuring their basic needs are met. Help us help them.
Raising money for
Help Refugees funds grass-roots organisations, enabling them to give vital support to refugees across Europe.
With no major aid organisations in Calais and Dunkirk, it is up to a small number of local charities, powered by a volunteer workforce, to sustain and maintain minimum standards of living in both camps.
In Calais, Help Refugees work closely with local charity L'Auberge des Migrants supplying funding to: build shelters (over 1400 to date), supply light (2300 lamps distributed), fire extinguishers (over 400) and other essential items, when stocks are low.
In Dunkirk we work with Utopia 56, the camp managers, and various small local charities. We receive and sort all donations and stock all distribution points, which we also built. In addition, we build shelters, kitchens, and support day to day operations with our infrastructure.
Providing emergency supplies for Calais & Dunkirk
We require large volumes of the following items in order to help residents of the camp stay clean, warm and dry:
Full kits in sizes S & M(tshirt, jumper, hat, socks, gloves scarf, hygiene pack):
Unfortunately the generous physical donations we receive are not sufficient, due to the huge quantities of aid we supply. Our warehouse is running dangerously low on these items as well as items which must be new like men's and women's underwear, hygiene products, protein-rich foods, tomatoes, rice, tea, onions, garlic and other fresh vegetables.
Please donate now and share this page to enable us to keep supplying the residents of the Calais and Dunkirk camps with the things that they need in an efficient, dignified, humane way.
