About
Anne is a much-loved and valued member of the Bang to Rites drumming group and has been there right from the start in 2013.
BTR drummers wanted to show their support for Anne, following two bouts of cancer, by spending the year fundraising for Anne's two chosen cancer charities.
So we've hung up our usual uniform of purple and green tatters and gone for pink tutus, special t-shirts and in some cases pink leather kilts (and that's just the guys!).
It might be one person who has the cancer, but this awful disease also affects everyone around them. BTR is a tight-knit group who see each other as family rather than just friends, so we are supporting Anne in the best way we know how - by dressing up and drumming loud!

One of our members Harry Soffe recently entered (and won!) a charity boxing event in aid of our chosen charities. That's true dedication :-) See our photos section for pictures of his victorious bout. Many thanks to South West Media for the photographs: https://www.facebook.com/pg/swmcombat/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1850919105128824
