Bristol2Bordeaux with Paul, Jenny, Brian & Roisin
Now in it's 9th year, the Bristol to Bordeaux Cycle Challenge is one of the UK's toughest charity fundraising events.
Departing Bristol on Wednesday 5th July the ride takes in over 500 miles of tough hills before arriving in Bordeaux on Saturday 8th July. The event is to support a special needs charity for young adults based in Bristol, called PROPS. It's mission is to help those with learning difficulties and disabilities achieve their potential within our community. Based at the Vassall Centre in Fishponds in Bristol, it does this by providing opportunities and support to its students in order to foster and nurture inclusion in our community.
The charity works with a number of community partners to encourage integration through a range of initiatives including business enterprise, social and educational interaction, farming and horticulture, sporting activities and creative arts.
Team Essex consists of Brian, Jenny, Paul and Roisin.
Brian, Paul and Jennifer, all of us being of a certain age, will be struggling to keep up with 20 year old Roisin.
