Brianna Swims the Serpentine
Brianna Middleton MacPherson
I'm swimming the Serpentine on 16th of September to help raise money for two charities in my life: The Children's Trust and WDSA (UK)
Donations accepted until 16-12-2017
I am raising money for two amazing charities close to my heart.
1. The Children's Trust: the charity I work for
We help children and young people with brain injury. I've witnessed first hand how our staff, careers, teachers and volunteers provide amazing care, education and support to children and young people who live or visit The Children's Trust. Every year over 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury, and every penny you donate helps us give children the chance to live the best life possible whether that be through rehabilitation, online services or community support. 2. Wheelchair Dancesport Association (UK): The charity I am a trustee at
WDSA is a wonderful organisation, national governing body and charity that provides opportunities for those who would otherwise be excluded from dance.
Dance is accessible to anyone, with no boundaries in terms of age or level of ability. With your donations we can provide more opportunities across the county and make sure more people can be active and have fun through dance. Read more about them here: http://wdsauk.co.uk/
I've been thinking about doing a swim, cycle or some kind of challenge all year and finally one day I just signed up for Swim Serpentine.. now it's next week, and I'm definitely not ready!
I'll be swimming 1 mile in the Serpentine in Hyde Park on the 16th of September at 12pm. I'm just hoping I don't freeze!
Wish me luck, donate if you can it would really mean the world to both these charities and come and cheer me on if you're around - would love your support!
Thank you x
