We are fundraising for Vision 21 - United Welsh charity of the year - cycling from Fishguard to Caerphilly – more than 160 miles over 3 days in May.
We are a team of 14 cyclists who work for United Welsh. Each year our housing association supports a charity that is close to the heart of our staff. This year its Vision 21- a fabulous charity that works with people with learning needs and supports them into rewarding work opportunities. We have a great partnership with Vision 21 - they run two restaurants in our Extra Care homes in Caerphilly and Nantyglo. It’s a real win-win relationship - our older residents enjoy locally-cooked nutritious meals and Vision 21 employ and train local people with learning needs to deliver this important service. What’s not to like?!
