About

Tragic events in Bangladesh and Myanmar have displaced many and created a refugee crisis. This page has been created to help raise funds in aid of these refugees.

- Allah the exalted says:
And whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah's Cause), He will replace it. [34:39]
- Nabi s.a.w said: If anyone fulfills his brother's needs, Allah will fulfill his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection. [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Event details

Rohingya Refugee Aid Mission

Mufti Shahbaz, on behalf of Blackhall Mosque, is travelling to Bangladesh in the first week of March with the World Care Foundation to provide assistance to Rohingya Refugees.

This is an appeal for donations to provide those desperately in need of assistance the help they require to get them through this incredibly difficult period and beyond.

Activities:

  • Distribute food and other critical necessities.
  • Supporting medical camps.
  • Making shelters, showers and water wells.
Please support this aid mission by donating generously. It's all zakat eligible and 100% of the funds raised will go to the activities listed above.

All volunteers will be paying for their own travel expenses so all donations will be allocated to the above causes. The charity World Care Foundation has a 100% donation policy.

If you are a tax payer we do request you to gift aid your donation. This part of the donation will go to Blackhall Masjid so they can facilitate more of these opportunities whilst continuing to provide great and essential services to the community. Jzk
