100 reasons to BeGlad #BeGladMovement
Hello, my name is Pollyanna, Some of you may have heard of the book/film ‘Pollyanna,’ which I was named after. The little girl in the book plays ‘The Glad Game.’ I have been brought up being told to ‘play the glad game,’ every time things aren’t necessarily going my way, or the way I would like them to go.
Essentially all you have to do to play this game is take some time out to reflect on your situation and find a reason to be glad. It may not come to you straight away and I am not saying it is always easy but if you think hard enough you will more than likely be able to learn something from your situation at the very least, or use your story to help someone else. And that is what I am trying to achieve, creating a platform for people to share their stories of how they were able to find their glad out of a bad or sad.
Collecting stories of gladness - 100 BeGlad's
I have set my challenge to collect 100 stories by the end of the year. This may not seem like a lot at first glance but with only 52 weeks in a year and being February (week 6 already) I have my work cut out, I will need to collect at the very least two a week once I have caught up with the current deficit. I have a small toddler who also keeps me busy so all of this will have to happen during nap times!
If you have a story you'd like to share with me please check out the BeGlad website, Facebook page or YouTube channel and like, share, subscribe and get in touch. I really would appreciate it so so much. Thank you.
