Raising money for
This Summer I am going to cycle very VERY far with a small group of intrepid cyclists . We will be moving legs, money and minds, in a sponsored relay cycle between London and Athens, fundraising for a community centre for refugees in Athens.
We are fundraising for one of Help Refugees, who fund small grassroots refugee organisations. The specific group we are fundraising for is Khora, a co-operative made up of volunteers from all over the world, including the local Greek community, the refugee community and other international volunteers.
I'm joining THIGHS of STEEL on the ride from Dubrovnik to Corfu. It sounds such a beautiful coastal ride…..BUT…
There are mountains (loads of mountains!!!) .
It will be hot (very hot..) .
A daily shower won't be guaranteed (my lovely boyfriend will love this!). We'll also be cycling 700km over 6 days…(better invest in a comfortable saddle!)
Please, help me make a difference….My thighs will be extremely grateful!!!!
Ps. As a reward you will receive daily update during my ride…Just to make sure I am still alive!

Their community centre in Athens provides not only basic needs such as free nutritious food, warm clothing and access to dental care, but also social needs such as education, child care, access to information and a safe space to build relationships and relax.
