Thanks so much to everyone who supported us on our bike ride around the Malverns.
You've all con contributed towards the charities which may be able to find ways to detect pancreatic cancer sooner to improve the survival rate which has stayed at between 2% – 4% for nearly 50 years.
Our brother-in-law, Ron Lines, was diagnosed on 27 Dec 2015 after suffering pains since October and died early on Wednesday (20 Jul 2016).
Thank you for all your support at a particularly difficult time for our family.
Cycling the Malvern Mad Hatter
We decided to get on our bikes and ride the Malvern Mad Hatter to raise funds for the two charities targeting pancreatic cancer.
Weaving our way around the rural roads shared between the three counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, the ride was a gruelling 75 or 106 mile run with the toughest climbs and fastest descents.
Little wonder it's called The Mad Hatter.
