Andrew Jock Richards - fundraising page
I would be most grateful if you could donate money to a remarkable charity that is taking great strides to eradicate one of the UK's biggest killers, colon cancer.
The charity I am proud to be connected to is called 40tude. We are raising money and awareness for the world leading colon doctors at St Mark's Hospital Foundation in London. St Mark's is pioneering a number of remarkable treatments for the early detection and better treatment of colon cancer. We meet (and even cycle with) the doctors who run the projects we support.
Given that I’m a little ‘out of shape’ and possibly the heaviest cyclist in the party, some extra motivational assistance in the way of funds for St Mark's would be an ideal prod for me getting up the steeper climbs. No pressure to donate at all but I would be grateful for whatever cash you feel you are happy to part with....
40tude’s 2015 Rewind Cycle Challenge
40tude’s 2015 Rewind Cycle Challenge will be a celebratory ride from Paris to London - a reversal of our very first cycle event in 2011 - marking the first five years of 40tude curing colon cancer. Cycling some 380 km from the foot of the Eiffel Tower in Paris back to London, the 40tude peloton will be tackling distances of 100-120 miles a day before arriving in the Mall on Saturday 12th September. Help us to raise awareness and vital funds to cure colon cancer in celebration of 40tude’s 5th birthday year and the 180th anniversary of St. Mark’s Hospital, in Harrow - a world leading centre for research and treatment of bowel disorders.
