Not going back to the slammer - JAILBREAK 2019
Two students had a simple dream: to raise shedloads of friggin money for a good cause while enjoying that sweet, sweet freedom of movement while it lasts.
Starting on the 9th of March, we will have 36 hours to get as far away from Oxford as possible without using our own money, relying only on the kindness of strangers, a little bit of luck, and buckets of charm, guile, and witty conversation.
Your generous donations will help us raise money for not one, not two, not three, but FOUR amazing charities - yes, you heard that right! Aspire Oxford, The Porch, Education Partnerships Africa, and IntoUniversity address the important issues of homelessness and access to education, both in Oxford and further afield.
So reach deep into those pockets, have a good ol' rummage around, and give us all ya got - any and all donations will be greatly appreciated, not just by us, but also by the people these excellent charities are working to help.
Big love and see you on the other side,
Andrew and Loren x
36 hours. No money. How far could you get?
THE CHALLENGE: You’ve got 36 hours to escape from Oxford, and get as far away as possible without spending a penny of your own money. How far could you get?
On the 9th March our brave Jailbreakers are going to find out in Oxford’s biggest race against the clock yet.
Relying on their wit and charm to talk their way onto planes, trains, and buses our teams will compete against each other for victory, completing a series of challenges along the way. Last year competitors made it to Singapore, Barcelona and Tokyo - how far will Jailbreak 2019 go?
All of the sponsorship that our participants raise will go to Oxford SU RAG's 2018/19 charities; Aspire Oxford, The Porch, Education Partnerships Africa and IntoUniversity, all of which do amazing work changing lives in Oxfordshire and further afield.
