Allied Financial Services, are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on September 8th, raising money for three inspirational charities.

Four members of Allied Financial Services are taking on the challenge to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks, as a team, within just 12 hours. They are taking on this challenge to raise money for three charities across Yorkshire and the North West.
Allied Financial Services have two offices in Wigan and Leeds. They provide individuals and businesses with financial advice on pension planning, investments, savings, tax planning, employee and employer benefits, equity release, long term care, protection benefits and more.
Taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is MD, Nick Wylie, from Stoke-On-Trent, Keith Jackson, Financial Planner from Crosshills, Sophia Harris, Financial Planner from Leeds, and Janet McSorley, who looks after support and accounts and is from Wigan.
In preparation for the challenge, the team's training includes; Nick taking part on 10km races with his running club and walking in Snowdonia, Keith using a gym program base don the Three Peaks walk and tackling a peak on the weekend, Sophia walking 10-15km every weekend with her dog and attending the gym on a daily basis, and Janet has already completed all the peaks, with repeats planned!
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
The Allied Financial Services team are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on September 8th, to raise money for three charities. The three charities are, Making Space, a leading national provider of adult health and social care services, with several support services for people across Wigan and Warrington. Candlelighters, a charity that supports families facing children's cancer in the North and Yorkshire Rose Dog Rescue, a small charity that works to help rescue and re-home dogs.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough, in under 12 hours. The route, which forms part of the Pennine Range, is 24 miles long and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.
Allied Financial Services actively encourage their staff to undertake fundraising activities. The business regularly gives back to the local community with additional fundraising and community initiatives planned for 2017.
