We are a group of Alan’s family and friends who are raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
CALM is a mental health charity that aims to prevent suicide in men, particularly young men, though it will help anybody regardless of gender or age. They do this by direct help to individuals and through awareness campaigning around mental health.
Suicide is the biggest single killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. So often, as in Alan’s case, it happens without warning to friends and family. He was 34 years old.
Our greatest wish now is that CALM can receive the funds to be able to reach more of those who feel the same way and help them before they take their lives.
Thank you for visiting this page. All contributions go directly to CALM as this site does not charge a fee.

Isle of Wight Challenge
On the 5th and 6th May this year, we are cycling and walking on the Isle of Wight to raise money for this incredibly important charity.
The cyclists are hoping to complete a full circuit of the Island (about 64 miles) over the two days, with the walkers doing half that.
In addition, one brave (foolish?!) soul is doing a Spartan Race near Sevenoaks in Kent.
Event is completed
with gift aid: £7,008.25
