About

To mark what would have been George’s 10th Birthday on 3rd April 2018, Mark & Emily (George’s parents) are taking on a year of 10 challenges. We are very glad to have some brilliant friends supporting us in this - Gemma, Emma C, Ellie, Jamie, Tim, Guy, James, Steve, Jess, Ruth, Laura, Sue, Emma J, Siobhan & Tom. We hope to raise £10,000 to fund even more projects.

When George died suddenly in 2009 from a rare illness he was 14 months old. One of the things that has helped us through the sadness is realising we can channel some of the energy we would have been giving to George's life into support for other children who need it. This year we hope we can do something extra with your help!

We set up The George Oliver Foundation in 2010 and each year the Foundation gives funding to projects that support children and young people. Recent projects include Haven Hospice "at home" play support, Soundmix music workshops for disabled children and new toilet facilities for a school in Malawi. We are 100% voluntary run.

You can read more about George's Foundation and our progress with these challenges on our website.

THANK YOU !
Mark, Emily & friends x
