Youth Concern 10KM Charity Walk

Feel the need to walk off the Christmas Turkey or that last mince pie, join us on Sunday 6th January 2019 for the Youth Concern Winter Walk which starts in the historic town of Wendover, walking through the beautiful Chiltern hills, past Chequers Estate, home of the Prime Minister then over to the 360 scenic view at Coombe Hill before returning back for a well-deserved bacon bun and a warm glass of mulled wine.

How much is it and how much sponsorship should I raise? 
Advance entry - £20 per person (adult) and £10 per child (under 16’s)
Entry on the Day  - £25 per person (adult) and £12 per child (under 16’s)
There is no minimum sponsorship for this event, but it would be great if everyone that participates could try to raise at least £50

Registration opens: 09.30am 
Start of the event: 10.30am 

 

Proposed Solution-The Next Step...
Youth Concern is setting up a flagship youth supported accommodation and employment pathways project called “The Next Step”. This 10-bed project will provide up to 20 young people with a safe home for up to a year. Bespoke one-to-one support packages will be provided focussing on health, skills, employment and resettlement, to enable a smooth transition to independent living
