Sleep Out 2019

www.windsorhomelessproject.org This is our fifth SleepOut to raise money for the Windsor Homeless Project.

To be honest we’d prefer not to have to hold this event.

However, homelessness is massively on the increase for many reasons. This is something that could happen to anyone, and we are passionate about giving support to those who have fallen on hard times, so that they can be given an opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Not only does this event raise vital money that is used to develop the work that we do with our guests, but it also gives a unique experience to those taking part – a very small taste of rough sleeping.

On 5th April you are choosing to spend one uncomfortable night in order to give hope to those who at the moment have no choice but to live like this every day.

WHP provides immediate support to individuals’ physical needs, together with long term support, care and counselling to get them into housing. This is done through open drop-in sessions 4 times a week. We offer empathy and practical support to the homeless and vulnerable in a non-judgemental and compassionate way.

We empower people to rebuild their lives, and partner with other agencies to support positive change, accommodation and a new, sustainable lifestyle
