Sponsor 'Speckles' for End Polio Now

'Speckles' is racing in the Bonsall World Hen Racing Championships on 5 August to fundraise for 'End Polio Now'. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will add double the amount Speckles raises through sponsorship, so £5 becomes £15 (£18.75 if you Gift Aid it). Help eradicate this children-killing and children-cripplling disease from the world.

Help eradicate this children-killing and children-cripplling disease from the world.

When the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) started in 1988, polio paralyzed more than 350,000 children annually in more than 125 countries. Today, cases have reduced by more than 99.9% through the efforts of Rotary International and its GPEI partners. Now only Pakistan, Nigeria and Afghanistan are polio-endemic. You can help stamp it out. One oral dose of vaccine costs ~11 pence.
