The Big Walk for the Ruth Hayman Trust

The Big Walk started on Sunday, 6th May.  https://bigruthhaymantrustwalk.wordpress.com/blog/ will let you follow the intrepid fund raisers.  They aim to raise £15,000 to help our applicants (mainly asylum seekers, refugees or victims of trafficking or modern slavery)  get the education and training they need to start a new life in the UK.

Walking the full route along the Grand Union Canal from Birmingham to London are Ruth Hayman Trust Chair, Mary Simpson, loyal supporter Elizabeth Knight and her partner Paul, trustee Gomathi Panchapagesan, and half way each, trustees Sally Staples and Jane Wilson.  In addition, Stephanie Jones is speeding through in half the time and Judith Nicholson is fitting in 65 miles around her teaching commitments.

Many others will be joining along the route or for the final day, finishing at Little Venice in London on 19th May.

Other groups, including Concorde Education Services in Brighton, will be walking for the Trust in their own areas.

Please be a supporter to encourage all our walkers by donating now.
