Put a fiver to work

Beyond Food supports vulnerable people into meaningful employment. We do this directly through our training programmes at Brigade Bar and Bistro- but our mission extends beyond the work in our restaurant.

We're asking you to buy a vulnerable person a book for just £5.

There are over 1.6 million people unemployed in the UK who are looking for work. For many, the major barriers are not knowing where to look, how to apply and what tools they'll need to get started.

Our Chef Founder, Simon Boyle, has used his experience of working with over 1,000 vulnerable people to publish an interactive workbook, 'How to Find a Job and Keep It' to take their first steps into employment.

Follow us on Twitter to see how the book you've bought is helping vulnerable people: @Beyond_Food #Putafivertowork

Once you've bought a book, take a selfie with your top tip for finding a job and keeping it and use the hashtag #putafivertowork
