Ponds & Streams Programme

The Friends of Richmond Park's Ponds & Streams Programme aims to conserve, restore and create new freshwater habitats in Richmond Park. The programme has already created 2 new ponds (Jubilee and Attenborough) to retain more water in the Park. restored part of Beverley Brook to a natural stream with new habitats for plants, animals and birds and de-silted and removed invasive aquatic weeds from 4 ponds. We would now like to fund a new backwater and further improvements for Beverley Brook and protection of acquatic wildlife around Pen Ponds.

Sir David Attenborough is the patron of the Programme and it is supported by Thames Water.
