With a lot of initial hard work from the Bereavement Midwives and the team we are pleased that this project can now begin.

Hayley Stevenson- Bereavement midwife/ Labour ward lead (Who is leading the project) alongside Bereavement Midwife- Shelley Trigwell and two Charities- Abigail's Footsteps and Oscars Wish Foundation are joined by two dedicated Mummies Kara and Leanne.

"This project is so needed to provide a sanctuary for families when they experience the loss of their baby" (2018)

The team consists of- Kara Carling- Mum of Jessica, Leanne Gates- Mum of Jenson, and David Ward- Father of Abigail and Founder of Abigail's Footsteps, Hayley Stevenson and Shelley Trigwell- Bereavement Midwives and Gemma Kybert- Mum of Oscar and Founder of Oscars Wish Foundation.

The team have decided that the project will be complete within ten months. This is to raise the funds and carry out the work needed to transform the space from two birthing pool rooms into a suite.
