Mohammad Abu Sammour Family Appeal

An appeal for the widow and 4 young children of Palestinian Mohammad Abu Sammour, of Airdrie, Scotland who died of life threatening injuries on October 28. Fidaa, 39, and her sons, aged 10 and under, have not received Income support since her husband’s death. In addition, her husband's employer - Osprey Efficient  - gave her just one month's pay, despite him being killed while on the job as a site security supervisor - a job he held for many years - while protecting luxury properties owned by Taylor Wimpey. Neither Taylor wimpey nor Osprey Efficient have made a public statement.  Mohammad was found bleeding to death in the street. He died later in hospital.  The alleged killer/s fled in Mohammad’s car — later found torched in nearby New Stevenston. Two people have been charged with murder, it is believed a third person is also sought. Mohammad’s body was released for burial on Dec 6. Fidaa, 38, said: “I accept it was his time but I can’t understand. My youngest is one year old. He will never know his dad. He was an amazing husband and dad, gentle, loving and helpful.” Positive Action in Housing is helping the family to rebuild their lives.

Leave messages of support here or email home@positiveactionh.org and these will be passed on, or go to www.positiveactionh.org/donate for other ways to give and say it is for the Sammour family. 100% of your donation will go to the family.
