Mohammad Abu Sammour Family Appeal

The funeral for our dear brother Palestinian Mohammad Abu Sammour, from Airdrie was held on Thur 6 December 2018 in Glasgow Central Mosque. Mohammad leaves behind his devoted wife Fidaa and their four sons aged 10 to one year old. Mohammad was found bleeding to death by a terrified resident at Taylor Wimpey’s development, near Holytown Crematorium. He died in hospital.  The alleged killer fled in his white Peugeot Partner — later found torched in nearby New Stevenston. It is believed he worked for Osprey Efficient. Osprey Efficient and @TaylorWimpeyplc did not comment.
On Nov 5, 21-year-old Scott Pearson from Motherwell appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court charged with Mohammad’s murder. He also faced a charge of perverting the course of justice. A second man has been charged on december 7th.  Mohammad’s widow Fidaa, 38, speaking from their home in Caldercruix, Lanarkshire, said: “Mohammad was an amazing husband. He was gentle, loving, kind, and helpful. I just ask anyone who knows anything about what happened to tell the police.” Fidaa has not told her children the details of how their dad died. Positive Action in Housing is assisting the family with a house move to Glasgow.
