Imprints: London Migration Walk

Join the Migration Museum Project on 16 October for a fun day of discovery about London's rich migration history – and help us raise funds towards our goal of creating a Migration Museum for Britain.

Our aim is to tell the stories of migrants who have shaped our culture and identity and to promote a more historically informed conversation about the role of migration in Britain. In the current climate, the need for such a space for dialogue could not be greater.

Walk 20km from Greenwich to Hyde Park (or join us at Whitechapel) led by expert guides.

Registrations for the walk are now closed, but you can still support us by making a donation.

In addition, we encourage you to raise funds from friends and family to help support our future activities. With 100 walkers raising £200 each (£10 each from 20 friends), we could raise£20,000 towards a new exhibition in 2017. Click on the pink 'Start Fundraising' button above to get started.

All walkers raising £200+ will receive a special prize, including a signed copy of MMP Trustee Robert Winder’s Bloody Foreigners.
For walkers raising £1,000+, we will also be delighted to arrange a private migration walk for you and up to 15 friends or family.
