10K, 10 BRIDGES LONDON WALK 2019

Each year since 2008, different groups of supporters have taken part in sponsored walks one weekend in May. We all walk with the same hope in mind – raising research funds to find a cure or treatment for myotubular and centronuclear myopathy.

Our London 10 bridges walks have been so popular that we are doing it again this year. We’ll be walking 10 kilometers and crossing 10 of London's iconic bridges to raise vital research funds.

We start at London Bridge, walk westward and finish with a picnic in Battersea Park.

We take it easy - you can take in pubs, coffee shops, or just the view and you can do it fast or do it slow. There’s certainly plenty to see and take in along the way, as we pass some of London's greatest bridges and buildings.

The Myotubular Trust raises research funds to help find a cure for myotubular, (also known as centronuclear) myopathy. It is a devastating condition, the most severe form of which affects babies from birth, causing profound muscle weakness, and in most cases early death. Your sponsorship helps us to fund research with world-class scientists, bringing ever closer the day a treatment or cure will be found.
