Lancashire Flood Recovery Fund Public Appeal

Launched on 8 December 2015 the Lancashire Recovery Fund Appeal will raise funds to directly support individuals and families already struggling and vital community organisations and resident groups in the county affected by flooding from storms from December 2015 onwards, including Storms Desmond and Eva. Funds will be distributed in communities to contribute to clean-up costs, emergency repairs, clothing, food and drink, heating and heating equipment, childcare equipment and basic furniture as well as related community projects.

We launched the Appeal by making a £5,000 donation from our own Lancashire Community Investment Fund and thank everyone who has donated to our Appeal so far. Members of the public and businesses can donate to the Recovery Fund’s Public Appeal online via this dedicated MyDonate webpage. Alternatively cheques made payable to the ‘Lancashire flood appeal’ can be sent to our North West office: 3rd Floor, Stanley Building, 43 Hanover Street, Liverpool L1 3DN

All funds raised will be donated directly to the Recovery Fund for direct distribution to the communities in Lancashire affected by flooding from December 2015 onwards. All funds will be administered by the Community Foundations for individuals and families suffering financial hardship and community organisations and resident groups delivering community relief and ‘rebuilding’ projects, covering our minimal and modest charitable expenses as required as a registered charity.

Here is our donation from Cats with Red Shoes showtime which took place at viva show bar on 12th and 13th March, 2016. Performed by students age 2 - 16 years. If at all possible a certificate of donation would be fantastic to show all the students.
