Song of Songs

The Sixteen and Harry Christophers are co-commissioning a new work by composer John Barber called 'Song of Songs'. It will be premiered at the Spitalfields Music Summer Festival on 17 June 2014.We would be delighted if you could contribute towards this project and have the satisfaction of knowing you have helped create a new piece of music by one of the UK's most exciting young composers.

Anyone contributing at least £25 by 31 March towards this new work will be thanked on our website. The Sixteen have commissioned many works by some of the UK's most interesting young composers and we believe this new work by John Barber - with your generous support - will be a significant addition to the choral repertoire.
