Firewalk for Cambridge Rape Crisis

Do you dare to walk on fire? Put your bravery and courage to the test. Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre is bringing you the ultimate fundraising challenge... Conquer your fears and walk barefoot across 20ft of burning embers as hot as 1200ºF to support women and girls who have survived sexual violence.

Empowering and uplifting training will be provided by our lovely experts! This is training that will stay with you and help you overcome challenges in your everyday life. Our previous Firewalkers have described it as “exhilarating”, “engaging”, “lively and motivational”!

If you are aged 14+ and would like to take part, please register by making a donation to this event page - please make sure you don't gift aid it. The registration fee is £25.

Once you've made your registration donation, please complete our registration form: http://tinyurl.com/crccfirewalk

Please note minimum sponsorship is £125

We also welcome the friends and families of participants to come along. There will be refreshments, music and fire-themed entertainment! Plus a glitter stand for those who want to add a bit of sparkle to their Saturday!

We need to raise money for our 1-2-1 Counselling Service. This is a free face-to-face service that we offer to women and teenage girls who have experienced rape, childhood sexual abuse or any other form of sexual violence.

Our previous Firewalks raised thousands of pounds and helped us to open our email support service, which along with our helpline service continues to grow, offering free, anonymous support to women and girls. Money raised will also help us to keep our services going.
