Syria Chemical Attacks Emergency Response
UKAFR are working in partnership with Syria Relief to support the people of Syria.
Horrific footage of the chemical attacks targeting the people of Syria cannot be ignored.
The doctors and medics are frantically trying to save as many lives as possible.
Every time they come into contact with the patients they are putting themselves in grave danger.
One of the hospitals supported by Syria Relief, was hit in the bombing and chemical attack - they are still awaiting confirmation of the number of fatalities and casualties.
We have sourced the most effective hazmat suits available after extensive discussions with the manufacturers for the situation they are in. These suits will protect the workers against the majority of known chemical agents including Sarin.
We need to airlift these suits to the Turkey/Syria border as soon as possible.
The cost will be approximately £20 per suit and we need at least 1000
Please help us save as many lives as possible.
Just £20 could save the life of a doctor or nurse desperately trying to save as the victims of these attacks.
As a result of that meeting, they requested that we help to provide a number of protective items in order to protect key personnel on the ground.
