Refugees in Calais were asked what is the single thing they need the most. Top of the list was footwear and specifically waterproof boots to keep their feet both warm and, most importantly, dry.

Providing good quality waterproof walking boots is one of the most sustainable things we can do to affect the quality of life for homeless refugees. Refugees walk miles every day to find food, shelter and just to keep themselves safe. For those sleeping rough in France and Belgium, having permanently wet feet has caused thousands of cases of foot disease already. Having good shoes is vital to survive this way of life.

Right now, a refugee needs YOUR help. Give today and help us reach homeless refugee adults and children in need. Your donation could help us take immediate action to protect them.

Working Together
This campaign is supported by local refugee groups working together including...

Chorleywood 4 Refugees, Calais People to People Solidarity, Cambridge Convoy Refugee Action Group (CamCRAG), Derbyshire Refugee Support, Friends of Refugees for Bedfordshire, Greenwich Refugee Aid Community Enterprise (GRACE), Herts for Refugees, Leicestershire Refugee Support, Marlow Refugee Action Group, Refugee to Recovery, Side by Side Refugees and Together100.

Boots will be given to refugees in France and Belgium by Care4Calais and Help Refugees.
