Yale People Supporting Victim Support
Victim Support, are the national charity giving free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses, their family, friends and anyone else affected across England and Wales. We also speak out as a national voice for victims and witnesses and campaign for change.
Forty years ago the first Victim Support group was founded in Bristol. Now, we have over 5,600 volunteers and 1,500 staff, who offer support to over 1.5 million victims and witnesses of crime a year.
We know what a big difference Victim Support makes to people’s lives.
The victim care teams offer free and confidential emotional and practical support to victims, while the Witness Service help those who are worried about going to court and concerned by the prospect of giving evidence.
