Support our No. 2 bowling green
The Club has one first class bowling green but needs to maintain a second green for use for training, social events and club competitions.

The Club needs additional funds to develop this green with better drainage, more scarifying, etc.

Please help the Club to raise about £1,000 for this work in 2019........ and support the volunteer team!

VPBC - About Us
Founded in 1899, the Club is one of the oldest crown green bowling clubs in Southport and has excellent facilities within the Southport Flower Show park.

The Club has two large bowling greens that are both mown by enthusiastic volunteer members.

With over 160 members, the Club has an active social programme. The Club uses a classical Victorian pavilion with modern refreshment and toilet facilities plus a convenient car park for members use.

The Club is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club. Its main purpose is to provide facilities for, and promote participation in, crown green bowling for the whole community irrespective of age, gender, religion, race or ability.

We welcome all new members and have training and social bowling sessions as well as competitive team bowling activities.
