Help #UlverstonMIND celebrate 30 Years!
In 1988 #UlverstonMIND was founded by local people in response to an urgent need to provide community-based mental health support services - the charity has always been well supported through the generous donations of time and money provided by the people, organisations and businesses of Ulverston and district.
We are immensely proud of our dedicated and skilled volunteer workforce who deliver, often life-saving, services to individuals and families experiencing mental health difficulty - 1 in 4 people experience a mental health issue in their lifetime; sometimes triggered by common life events such as the death of a loved one, relationship breakdown, homelessness, domestic abuse, unemployment, coping with illness or caring for a loved one with dementia - these events can often cause stress, anxiety, loneliness or depression. People can turn to #UlverstonMIND - we listen and we care. We work with people in a supportive way to move forward to mentally healthy wellbeing.
#UlverstonMIND needs YOUR continued support that makes a huge difference to people's lives.
