Charity description

Turning Tides Homelessness logo
Turning Tides, formally Worthing Churches Homeless Projects (WCHP), began working in Worthing in 1991. Since then it has expanded to meet a growing need and now offers services in Littlehampton and most recently in Horsham. We work with 1,100 people every year, offering, outreach, community hubs, hostels and specialist services to people who are homeless or insecurely housed in your community. Help us to make a difference in their lives and give them hope for a brighter future.

All your donations make such a difference to our work, here are a few ways they help:

£20 is the cost of providing a week’s worth of hot showers for someone sleeping rough

£52 could pay for one night’s stay at our Recovery Project in Worthing, offering 24/7 support for people struggling with the substance misuse that can be both a cause and a consequence of homelessness

£75 reflects the cost of providing a cooked breakfast for thirty days to someone sleeping rough in Worthing, Littlehampton or Horsham

£277 represents one day’s cost for running our Community Hub in Littlehampton, seeing up to 30 clients and including all specialist workers

Please make a donation today.
