Hello!

We thought you might like to know a little about us.

Who are you?
Tiphereth is a registered care charity (SC017483) supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

Where are you based?
We are based in the beautiful Pentland Hills near Colinton, Edinburgh.

How many people do you support?
Tiphereth currently has over 75 members and 24 residents. We are always growing and adding new services, so this number has problem increased!

What kind of residential care do you offer?
Tiphereth has three residential homes and two supported living homes. Our model of residential care promotes a great sense of community and belonging that can be seen in the holidays, celebrations and daily life the homes share.

What kind of Day services do you offer?
Our day service teams work on meaningful projects in gardening, printing, weaving, horticulture and woodwork. Our services seek to discover and celebrate the unique potential of each individual. The teams work on projects with other charities such as the Water of Leith Conservation Trust.

Are you working on any big projects?
YES! But we can’t tell you about it just yet. (Sorry)

What happens to my donation?
Every donation we receive goes toward supporting the life and work of people with support needs. Recent fundraising has bought new tools and equipment for our gardening groups and new looms for our weaving workshops.

What does the name Tiphereth mean?
Tiphereth means harmony, balance and compassion, exactly the ethos our founders wanted us to share every day.
