Charity description

The Pavilion Project logo
The North Walls cricket pavilion has seen better days!

The Pavilion Project is a not-for–profit, community-led organisation which is working with Winchester City Council and award-winning Winchester architect AR Design to replace the dilapidated cricket pavilion and scoring hut at North Walls Recreation Ground with one architecturally distinctive pavilion, serving both cricket pitches.

Winchester City Council already has allocated funds to build a “like for like” pavilion.
The Pavilion Project’s vision is to raise funds, and seek grants, to double the Council’s allocated budget. This will enable us to provide an enhanced, modern, accessible and sustainable facility; not only for cricketers but for other sports users and the wider community, too - all year round.

The target date for a new pavilion is early summer 2018. We hope you can support our ideas and help make them a reality.
(N.B. Gift-aid on donations will be applied retrospectively, when our registration is completed with HMRC.)
