The Gap Community Centre - Warwick
Please donate to support our cause. The Gap opened in 1999 with the initial aim of relieving tensions between local young people and older adults. Over the years, it has continued to grow into a thriving community hub, providing a range of activities for people of all ages, abilities and social backgrounds and it now has over 2000 people through the door each month. The overall aim of the Gap is to provide a welcoming environment for the local community that helps to enrich, enhance and empower people’s lives through: learning new skills; addressing personal or family issues; alleviating
social isolation; volunteering and taking part in physical and recreational activities.
Some of the activities provided include Youth Club (4 times a week); Older Adults Lunch Club; Art Group; fitness and wellbeing exercise classes; Computer Café; Knit and Natter; toddler groups; baby clinics; Dog Training; respite for young carers.
