Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.

If you haven't heard of us, The Friendly Trust is a registered charity which helps vulnerable adults to manage their money.
We provide individuals with accessible information and personalised, practical help to help them increase their financial independence and security and improve the quality of their lives.

Our plans and actions are based on the belief that disabled people and people who may be vulnerable for a variety of reasons:
1. Have the same value and status as everyone else
2. Have a right to make important decisions for themselves
3. Have a right to support from their families, communities and any other support which will help them achieve their wishes and goals
4. Have a right to influence and shape services and service delivery

We give vulnerable, disabled, sick and often isolated people access to the support and advice they need to improve their finances. The support we offer is always user led, and tailored to suit each individual's circumstances.
Sometimes, short term support and advice is enough to help someone through a financial struggle, but if longer term assistance is needed, we will always strive to provide it.

To date we have helped nearly 2000 people to achieve positive outcomes. One carer commented "The Friendly Trust staff were really informative and helpful. I don't know how I would have coped without them."
Another told us "Without your support A would really struggle to cope, be in significant debt and possibly homeless."
One Mother sent this message - "Heartfelt thanks to you for all the care you give to so many people. Nice to know there are people like you who give so much."
