The CIM (Centre for Islam and Medicine) is a new project which launched in 1st March 2014 in partnership with the Cambridge Muslim College. The aim is to deliver a sustainable stream of collaborative, quality research and educational resources on Islam and Medicine, rooted firmly in the Islamic scholarly perspective, that enriches the understanding of healthcare providers, Muslim scholars and the general public, and informs policy decisions. To do this, we hope to establish an institution to house the discussions taking place on issues of Medical ethics and to develop our own internal research on key ethical issues.
