Tarland Trails#2: Having considered revisions to the initial plan, the trustees of TDG(Tarland Development Group) have given their backing to seek funding for a planning application.

Over the next few months we will seek funding (£10,000) to enable a planning application and associated reports to be submitted to Aberdeenshire Council. Thank you for your input already. Everyone will once again have an opportunity to comment via the planning application process, whether against, neutral or in support, on the expansion of mountain trails on the outskirts of Tarland.

The Tarland Development Group (TDG) acquired charitable status in 2010 and became a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) in 2014 (Registered Charity SC041598).

Aim of TDG:

The organisation’s purpose is the advancement of community development and in particular, promotion of the arts, culture, heritage, environmental enhancement and protection, and the provision of recreational activities: all within the Parish of Tarland and the Howe of Cromar in the Marr area of Aberdeenshire.

Charity No: SC041598
