St. Luke's PCC Holmes Chapel

Charity description

St. Luke's PCC Holmes Chapel logo
Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. The Parochial Church Council of Church Hulme (Holmes Chapel) in Cheshire is responsible for making sure that the historic Grade I listed Parish Church of St. Luke remains in good repair and continues to meet the worshiping needs of the local community now and for future generations. The PCC receives no help from central Church of England funds and has to meet daily running costs and repairs to the fabric from the generosity of church members. The response to our Roof Appeal and help from the Heritage Lottery Fund has enabled us to begin the urgently needed re-roofing to the church to protect its medieval heritage. We now need to improve access to the church and provide toilet facilities so that the building can be more widely used and kept fit for purpose for the benefit of future generations.

Please show your support by donating to our Church Building Development Fund.

With your help we can now reach our new target of £75,000 towards the cost of improving safe access and providing toilet facilities but yet preserving the heritage of our historic church dating from about 1430.
