Charity description

St Christopher's CE High School logo
Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. St Christopher’s opened in 1958 to educate the children of church going families in East Lancashire.  A strong parent-school partnership has characterised much of the last 60 years as we work together to provide an education from which all pupils are able to excel.  Each year parents and guardians offer to support the school with their time, encouragement and financial contributions, without which we would be unable to offer the state of the art facilities characteristic of an outstanding school. Previous generations of parents have contributed in a number of ways financially and all contributions are gratefully received and have enabled the school to expand and develop.  In the last 15 years, for example, we have benefited from new classrooms, sports hall and purpose built sixth form building.   ICT infrastructure is a key priority and Governors have already invested a considerable sum to improve facilities, we wish to continue with that to ensure that the quality of education experienced by our pupils and students is as good as it can be, enabling us to produce model citizens for the 21st century.
