Seapoint Canoe Centre
Seapoint was set up as a charity in 1989, using paddlesport activities to help people of all ages and backgrounds grow their physical skills alongside character development, working with others, learning to lead and training to coach. We are helping those from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with mental or physical disabilities to have equal access to opportunities.
Please donate to support our cause.
We have planning permission to build a centre on the canal bank of the Royal Military Canal which will provide modern facilities in a permanent building. The building will provide changing rooms and showers for male, female and staff paddlers. Facilities will be specially designed to ensure access and ease of use by those with various disabilities. There will be a room which can be used for indoor training, meetings and shelter in inclement weather as well as being available for use by the local community . An office will enable us to have on-site training sessions and courses including First Aid and Sea Rescue Training.
