RAF Ingham Heritage Centre
Dedicated to No. 300, 301, 304 and 305 Polish Air Force Bomber Squadrons who served with the RAF during World War II.
Our Group’s aim is to renovate the wartime mess, creating a Heritage Centre to honour and remember the deeds and sacrifices of those men and women of the Polish Air force Bomber Squadrons who served here alongside the RAF during WWII.
Phase I of the heritage project now requires £20,000 to be raised and together with Heritage Lottery Funding this will enable us to start work on the Airmen’s mess.
The Memorial Garden, dedicated to all those who flew from RAF Ingham during the war and paid the ultimate sacrifice, is already open to the public on Sunday mornings only. Several smaller renovation projects are also nearing completion; including the Polish Families Nissen Hut and the Volunteers Workshop.
