The Quaker Tapestry panels have been delighting and inspiring audiences for over 30 years. These beautiful embroidered stories were made by 4,000 men, women and children between 1981 and 1996 within 15 different countries. They depict a fascinating insight into key events of the last 350 years with subjects as diverse as early railways, science, botany, the slave trade, prison reform, peace and chocolate. The Quaker Tapestry is an independent charity which relies on donations. These are needed to continue to make more opportunities for people to see and enjoy the beauty and stories of the tapestries, and so appreciate the Quaker heritage and way of life.
